This is my latest creation. It's a 30 gallon tank and meant for a young/small lizard. I made the bowls the same as the tank but then coated them in a thick layer of silicone to make them safe and waterproof. The main piece is removable for easy cleaning.

I was wondering wether i should take out the left big 'rock' and put some branches instead so he would have more climbing options. any ideas?

So, I've had my dragon a month now and I've been checking this thread out constantly looking for ideas and just getting more and more excited about setting up my own viv! I finally got it how I want it I think! I switched him from a basic 20 gallon set up with paper towels for substrate to this new 40 gallon set up! I think it came out pretty decent for a first try and He seems to really like it!!

It is actually two pieces of driftwood, the curvy one on top is pretty flat, but I got it off CL with a bunch of other stuff, and the other one i got from petsmart, didnt know what to do with so i used it to prop up th curvy one lol

I got a 40 gal aquarium with a sliding screen top, a 20 gal aquarium, a 100w che with a dome fixture, that driftwood, and a heat rock(which im not using) for $60. I think thats definitely a good deal!

A background would help with the "blandness" maybe a fake plant or something? My dragon loved his tree in his smaller setup!

Yea Im going to get a beardie hammock, some vines, fake backround and some plants.. All in due time lol, I spent a butt load of $$$ setting everything up to begin with lmfao
