That's an awesome root in Ronnies viv, whered you buy/find that? Or did you make it?

Thanks :D i bought the root at a local garden centre.

Was it something you purchased as a plant and you cut it off? Or did it come as it looks now? What was it being sold as/for?

Its called a Bamboo root jungle gym you can buy them in most reptile stores ebay have them too. :D

Well, I was going to wait until I was fully completed before posting pics, but ran into a decision that has brought me to a halt in progress...what to do for a background? Anyways, got my first beardie back in October and it's currently in a 10 gallon tank which he/she is rapidly outgrowing. So, I began to build my viv in early November in between my work schedule. Here is where I am left off at...

I went with an odd dimension of 57"x24x19 so as to be able to fit on top of a computer desk that I wasn't using. Still have to figure out what type of front covering/access door to go with, but as stated, I am tackling this in between my busy schedule.

Brand new. 6x2x3 on top is for Norman (beardie), 3x2x3 on bottom right is for Ozzie (blue tongue skink) and then empty 3x2x2 (insert mischevious look here :p)

First if the two new Vivs is just about done ( lighting might be changed)

Removed the gorgeous but smelly vinyl tiles ( why couldnt they have been none adhesive :banghead: ) And replaced with ceramic tile with a border of calci sand and a corner of carpet too.

I made this one with my grandfather. It has a melamine floor and side with oak trim. The top portions are made of plywood with chicken wire to hold the lamps, 2 100-watt merc bulbs. The top is actually hinged for easy access to the bulbs. The actual set up is on wheels. Our biggest problem was actually getting it through the doorway so we rigged it that the base could actually be seperated from the floor. The dimensions are approximately 52"x40"x25".

The lighting in my room is not camera friendly, so you can't really see how good the trim turned out.

I just set Swordtail's timer for his bath and paused it so I could actually fill his soaking bowl up and he crawled over my phone and canceled the timer 🤣
Mirage came out of brumation on April 26. He was doing great. On May 2 he started acting funny. We just redid his tank, and he keeps going into one of his hides. He just lays there. He shows no intrest in food. HELP!
is tape safe for fixing something in my leopard geckos hide?
