HI everyone!
We are expecting baby dragons any day! We are at day 57 of incubation with 16 eggs that are looking beautiful. I have looked online everywhere and not found very many videos of beardie eggs being candled, and the few I did find you cannot really see anything. I have read conflicting information on candling BD eggs. Some say it will harm them, others say it will not. I decided to go ahead and candle the eggs every so often. If you click on the link in my signature you can go to my posts where I have been updating about the eggs and my dragons as often as I can. But anyway, I wanted to post this video of one of the eggs I candled a few days ago. This particular egg we have always been able to see very well the embryo. Starting with what looked like a heartbeat, and then the shadow of a baby inside the egg. This video is the first actual video I took where you can see very clearly the baby dragon in the egg, moving about. I shortened the video as it was about 2 minutes long, and the baby was moving the entire time. In another egg we could clearly see legs and what we were sure were its little feet. Cannot wait to watch them hatch!!!
Here is the video. Enjoy everyone!!
