UVB?

Hey, I'm a little unsure of my UVB setup so I just wanted to check here that all is as it should be.

Right now I have Spike under a Reptisun 5.0 (I know, it was all I could get hold of!), and the tube is just connected to the 2 plastic ends and held to the top of the viv with clips. Do I need anything else to complete the setup? Should I have the tube in a holder or something?

I think from your description that mine is the same. I have mine attached to 2 plastic ends and hung onto hooks at the top so it can hang down within 6 inches of my beardie like so

. If you need to get a reptisun 10 theres lots of places you can get them online.

My debit card stopped working and they cancelled it to send me a new one. As a result, I'm paying cash for everything for a week or two, and it's all SO much more expensive. I payed £35 for the 26" Reptisun 5.0! And his thermostat cost me £70, the vets bill £40 (though I can't get that online :lol: ).

As for my UVB, this is what the ends of mine look like:

yeah that looks fine. Thats expensive for the reptisun 5.0. I get my arcadia 12% from here- the 24inch is £18: http://www.surreypetsupplies.co.uk/product.php?productid=29039&cat=0&page=1 You can also get the reptisuns from here for just over £19 for a 24inch. Once you get your card sorted i'd get the new UVB or your beardie will eventually develop health problems. I would be lost without my card...forgot what cash looks like i use it so much :lol:

Yeah, I plan on getting him a new one ASAP but for now I just have it a little closer to him. It's SUCH a pain with no card, livefood, lights, decorations and supplements are so much more expensive in physical shops.
