UVB lighting question

Hello,
I haven't posted on this forum site in a while but when i did it was a great help! To cut down to the chance i had a question about lighting so ill start with the specs.
40 G Breeder
100 watt Basking
75 watt basking
Temp Gun monitored
UVB 10.0 tube with a fixture
Bearded dragon (Zooma) he is going to be one in February(since the time i bought him, i don't know his exact birthdate)
My question is lately he has had him mouth open a fairly decent amount. I'd say about 6-7/10 times i look at him his mouth is open. i have noticed that when he is out of the cage he still does it just not as much. I've read that this could be a uvb light problem, so this leads me to my next question. I have a screen over my cage could this be blocking the uvb from reaching him???

Is the uvb a reptisun t5 10.0 tube light? If it is then you shouldnt worry, usually beardies bask with their mouths open when trying to keep themselves at a temperature or release extra heat from what ive read. However if it is a coil or compact bulb you'll want to get a tube light and if its a t8 you'll want to mount it inside using wire.
