I am getting new huge enclosures built around Christmas and would like some advice on uvb bulb fixtures. I currently have my uvb bulbs in a 'reflector' which I'm guessing is the same as a fixture.... And it's on the top of my current enclosures on mesh, and I got it from the pet store. When I get my new tanks, I want to put my uvb light on the inside of it. To do this, do I need a specific reptile uvb fixture/reflector? Or can I just use one of those fluorescent uvb fixtures from the hardware? I would use the ones I have, but they are too small and if I were to get longer ones, it would just be difficult to fit into my tank as it has sides that may block some light. I just believe that the general flourecent light fixtures would work better, but I am unsure if they would work with the uvb bulb.
