Ursus the mighty dragon!

Hi, I just thought I would start my thread for my beardie. I haven't gotten him yet, but will probably tomorrow or sometime soon. Anyway, today for Christmas I got a Zilla bearded dragon kit, so I will set it up in place of the 10 gallon tank. I know it won't lat him his whole life, but ot will last longer than the 10. I will probably get a flourescent UV light instead of the coil that comes with the kit, unless the zilla ones are okay. Also I probably won't use the alphpha pellets until he's 12 inches, if I use them at all. It's a decent setup, and I'll post photos of the cage and my little dragon when I get him!

Update-
Ursus is shedding right now on his chin again, and I just gave him a bath to help him. I'll try to post pictures tomorrow, believe me I've taken a lot of photos but haven't gotten them on yet . Been very busy lately so I'll try to tomorrow afternoon after school, so hopefully I can get them on.

Also, I'm in ski club at my school, and we have about a 45 minute late until the bus comes here, and there's a bearded dragon in one of the 7th grade biology teacher's class, and so me and a few friends went down, and we were lucky enough to be able to hold the beardie! It (I don't know if it's a boy or girl) is an awesome bearded dragon, and full grown too!

Okay, I swear, Ursus and Bligg have to be related! He's not even 3 months old and he's 9 1/2 inches and takes poops bigger than superworms (not kidding :shock: )! Sooner or later, he'll be 4 months and eating small dogs!

My boy is the same way, He's just 6 months old and already over a foot long!!! I guess I asked for it naming him Fezzik (Andre the Giant's character from the princess bride) He's going to live up to his namesake!

He's doing really well, and I'm sorry about pictures, one camera isn't working and I'm trying to find the other, so as soon as I find the other I'll take pictures.

Hey guys, quick question, do you think Ursus is old enough to eat mealworms? He's 11 inches long and will be three months old later this week. The reason I'm asking is because we're about to be snowed in (for like the 10th time :evil: ) and won't be able to buy any more crickets, but we have some mealworms in the fridge that are still alive, so I thought I'd try and feed him those. Sorry if this was mentioned anywhere else, but it's sort of an emergency!

I dont think feeding a dragon, any size, mealworms is a good idea, something at the harder outer shell.
When do you think you all will be shoveled out?

I don't know, but it doesn't matter any more, before it started snowing we actually were able to make it to the pet shop and got 100 crickets.
