As you can see he is studying mitosis. His food supply(the superworms in the tank next to him) are separated by that cardboard screen because otherwise he tries to dig through his glass terrarium to get to them lol
a better view of the superworm tank. My students love watching them squirm around and they help replace their veggies
I had some silkworms and set some aside to cacoon and a silkworm moth has emerged last night. My students got to see the entire life cycle of silk worms in my class. Something they would never have had the opportunity to if it wasn't for me having a Bearded Dragon as a classroom pet.
they're kind of pretty, I felt bad feeding this one to Captain Barbossa but only for a second lol
