Update on Booger, and Q's.

I posted on the forums about 1 1/2 months ago, when I got my beardie. He didn't have a name then and never really found one, just kept calling him the little booger and it kind of stuck.

He was about 5" long and has shed twice since I got him. He is now about 6.5" and seems to be much fatter than before. I was told he was about 6 weeks old when I got him and that would put him at about 3 months old. Is he growing at a fairly normal rate?

I have been feeding him crickets and various insects, (tried mealworms and waxworms and phoenix worms) but he still likes the crickets more than anything.

I have tried several different types of greens as well but he didn't seems to care. After a bit of online research and talking to people at my local fish and reptile store. I have been putting a small dish of water with duckweed from my large aquarium. He seems to really like this stuff and also seems to really like drinking the water from the dish. I heard this was unusual?

Shedding every two weeks is good...he's growing!

Are you bathing him also?
They get a good amount of moisture from bathing.
Booger is one of the few beardies I've read that drinks!

Try feeding yellow veggies, mine included and from what I've read, other beardies go for the color yellow.
Sweet peppers, butternut squash, etc

The phoenix worms are the best worm to feed him right now...warm them up and they'll wiggle more!
