Unsubscribing topics

So if I don't want emails from certain threads, I just have to select the "unsubscribe topic" right? Sorry if it's common sense or posted somewhere but I just did this to a bunch of threads because I just checked my email and had 1200 emails from this site alone. As much as I love this site, I hate emails. Or is there another trick in the control panel?

Hello,

Yes, the unsubscribe topic is right underneath of the post itself. Also, under Profile, you can make it to where you don't get notified of PM's as well, if you want to do that also.
They can add up in a hurry!

Also to note, if you ignore a notification and don't view the topic again, you won't be notified about a topic again. It will notify you again if you go and view the topic, though, if another reply comes in since you last viewed it.
