I will try that now Thanks
You could download the app. I use the photobucket app for my 4s and it works. The site doesn't, it's weird.

She will receive some hydration that way as well, so add a little extra water + a few drops of Pedialye to the mixture. As far as the vet's words of doubting that she will make it, I'm sure that you are aware that in her condition that he may be correct.....but as long as you can get a little something in her it's worth a try, and the less stress she has right now the better. It's good that you kept the bath short, 10 minutes is plenty. And as long as she will take in a little nutrition, the only thing a vet can do for her is to give you additional supplements. In her condition it may be best to just offer supportive care + nutrition at home. Keep up the good work, I wish the best for you !
I have a mix of walnut sand and calcium sand in her tank. Our other beardie has thrived In that exact mixture. Here in fla it's hard to control the humidity even with the AC. My exotic vet told me to that that after our healthy boy was no longer a juvinal. He had lizard carpet from 12 week until 1 yr. I change the tank every other month entirely and poop is scoops daily. I hope that makes you feel better. She can't climb but she basks on a long treated basking bridge I bought at PETCO. It's dishwasher safe but I decontaminate it every day. I have a kid and I'm a nurse so I'm fanatical about cleanliness. Her previous tank was filled with sand from the back yard. Filled with bugs & filth.dragonlover3":2h29at4h said:Hi,
That's great news for Lizzy Do I understand correctly you have sand in her tank. Sand and all loose substrate is very unsanitary, harbors waste, bacteria, viruses, mold, fungus and possibly worm and parasite eggs. It can cause intestinal impaction and it can not be cleaned completely. The liquid waste disperses through out the sand or loose substrate making it so it's almost like a beardie living in a cat litter box. You can poop-scoop out the solids, but not all of it, and only very little of the liquid waste. Better to use newspaper, paper towels, textured ceramic tiles, slate, textured congoleum, or non-adhesive shelf liner. These can all be either disposed of or cleaned well. None on this forum recommend sand or any loose substrate. ....beardies are from Australia where it is called desert because of low rain fall not sand...think the Outback, there is some sand of course, but trees, bush lands, brush, scrub, grasses, rocks, etc..... bearded dragons are tree climbers not sand dwellers.
I hope that puts your mind at ease.

I renamed her Chick-a-Bomb because of the wiggle in her walk. My vet is so impressed with the input i received from all of you. Her eyes are so much better. She is actually blinking now. Because her MBD is so severe her eyes grew outward so she will always look like she has bubble eyes. She can't climb so everything is low in her tank. She drank today during her soak. She also moved away from her poop which made me so happy. For 2 says she just sat in it. Thank you all for your support. I never could have done any of this without you! Your a beautiful group. I posted my face book page. That's where her pics are plus my beautiful fat boy.Cherie":1rf6gxpb said:How is the little girl doing? I can't help but feel she knows you are taking good care of her, and she might surprise you by making it. Don't give up hope! Have you picked out a name? New beginning, new name? I think people like your co-worker needs to be strung up by her toenails!! Please update when you can.
PS When I see the vet again in 4 weeks I will revisit the sand issue. Thank you so much for your feedback. Everywhere I go I see these little guys in the calcium sand. Fortunately we never had ours get inpacted. Fat boy loves to dig in it but if it has to go it will.mayuso001":2tth4ebi said:I have a mix of walnut sand and calcium sand in her tank.
