Hello!
This forum has been amazing. I have received a lot of awesome help and information!
I'm Jess, living in Ontario, Canada! I have a few other reptiles, but nothing as big as a Bearded Dragon. I've always wanted one, but just never got around to owning one! The other day I was basically thrown one by someone I know who couldn't take care of "her" anymore. I was told "she" came with full setup....
Turns out "she" came with a super small tank with all the wrong lighting! I don't know if "she" is actually Female or not, I still need to try and check. We have named her Boo, and she is now in a temporary 30 gallon tank. Hoping to get her a 4 foot tank I found online next weekend! Boo was being fed Iguana Pellets and Superworms. I have removed the pellets and have been feeding a bit of carrot here and there, and the Superworms! Going out today to get her some veggies.
Boo LOVES her bath! And seems very docile, which is fantastic. I am still a bit nervous handling her, as she is so large and I don't really know how to haha
My other reptiles are 2 Crested Geckos, 1 Gargoyle Gecko and an African Fat Tail Gecko! Boo is a welcomed addition and I will post photos of her later today
