The important thing is that she's getting the proper care now. I am in the same boat as you, My Gaz turns six months tomorrow and is 11 1/2 inches. I believe the normal growthrate at her age till a year is 1/2 inch/week so that's what you wanna focus on.

Hello! stella looks healthy from the pics. I am sure the lighting could have some to do w/ size. What are you feeding stella and how much? what are the temps in her cage? what type of lights are you using? are you using vitamins and calcium w/ d3? last Q, where did you buy her? I ask that one cause we baught our first dragon from petsmart, and i know for a fact that all petsmarts and petco's tell people that you should feed the dragon 2 x's a day 2-3 crix ea. feeding. way not enough. she should eat 40-100 3/8-1/2" crix a day.

I have to agree your pooper looks healthy from my angle and a cutie. If you are using the reptisun 10.0 you should be using the calcium with D3. The only time you should use it without is with an MVB bulb. Any more questions just ask!

ok, i just read your other post. 4 things i see are -
1. If you are still using the coil, get rid of it and go to an appropriate sized tube (reptisun 10)
2. 24" is way too far away not even soaking in the calcium @ that distance.
3. as Lance stated you need the d3 w/ the calcium if using a flourecent lamp. That helps your dragon absorb calcium.
4. Is you atated that the temps in basking are from 98-100 degrees, try bumping that up to 100-109 it will help digest faster and maybe increase the appetite.

About 1/2" to 3/4 " nothing smaller then that. And a bunch of meal bworms she can put away 50 of those if I let her. But she doesn't likethe super worms...aren't they they same thing just bigger?

also, is he eating any vegi's? My sons dragon is about 4.5 - 5months old and about the same size. he eats like a pig and has a belly of a buddha. its only the last two to three weeks that he has been eatin greens due to lack of interrest. however, in the last two weeks he has gone through 3 maybe 4 sheds and grew over 2"'s. could it have been lack of vegi's? what i do know is 3x's a day we put in 30+ 3/8" crix and he devours em. he also poops2-3 x's a day. when we got shocker he was like 4.5" head to tail. i thing he is growing great. but on the other hand i picked up an 8 week old yesterday that is bigger then shocker who is twice drago's age. careful of the meal worms, they can lead to impaction, try pheonix or silk worms. 1/2 - 3/4 would explain why only 15-20 a day.thats like 40-50 1/4's.

Iput a fresh salad in every morning...but stella will not have anything to do with the veggies.....she goes as far as to poop in her salad dish everyime she goes....seems pointless but I still do it every morning...I even put the salad in an hour before each morning feed. To temp her to eeat veg but nothing....much easier to get my 2 year old human child to get on her veg...but stella.not a chance...I've even gone as far as trying to hand feed her veg...she'll have maybe 4 bites of carrot...nothing else thou.

try going to beautifuldragons.com and look at the nutrition tab for what to offer. actually one thing that all my dragons started eating on is prically pear or cactus pear. It is red, so i think they may be attracted to it. it is very sweet and it can be given as a staple food. i find it @ any farmers market and or shoprite. from there they start to eat anything.

Mirage came out of brumation on April 26. He was doing great. On May 2 he started acting funny. We just redid his tank, and he keeps going into one of his hides. He just lays there. He shows no intrest in food. HELP!
is tape safe for fixing something in my leopard geckos hide?
Day 3 of brumation. It's a struggle. I really miss my little guy. 😔
