Two BD In the Same Room

Is it normal for a male BD to freak out if he is in the same room as another female BD? They are in different tanks on opposite sides of the room. I had to move the male into the same room to make room for some new furniture in my house. Since I moved him, he has been head bobbing and had a dark black beard. Is it territorial, mating stress, or something else? Any suggestions on what to do about it?

I'm not sure if moving him again is an option. I'm kind of running out of places to put him. I'll see what I can do.

If he can see your female he is not going to stop bearding or bobbing at her.
Your female might actualyl become stressed at seeing this constant display.

I know its a real hassle to move things around but it wont stop until they are moved to a spot where they cannot view eachother.

Honestly, I'm not even sure if she knows that he is there or not. She seems to be acting the same as she always does. I am going to work on some sort of blind so that he can't see her. Thanks for the input, I wasn't sure what to do.

are the vivs able to fit on a double stand. I have mine setup on a 75 gal aquarium stand. Marlboro's 75 gal on top and lower shelf is where Gabby's 55 gal viv is. If you can do this it will also save some space.

I know that stacking them on top of each other like that is not an option. I built my females cage myself, so it has a custom stand. I would like to build a custom cage for my male, but I don't have the money or time right now. I am working on rearranging my furniture so that their cages are right next to each other. If I am able to do that, they won't be able to see each other at all. Is it possible that he is just freaked out about the new surroundings? He is use to a quieter area of the house.

you said they are side by side? You can drape a towel or something between the vivs, he will still know she is their but he will give up on mating signals eventually if she is not in plain sight. Hope this helps

They are on opposite sides of the room right now. I was hoping to put them next to each other, but there isn't enough room to put them next to each other. The only way he won't be able to see her is if I put him in a different room like he was before. Thanks for the suggestions though.

Here is a video of how he has been acting since I moved him into the same room as my female.

Mirage came out of brumation on April 26. He was doing great. On May 2 he started acting funny. We just redid his tank, and he keeps going into one of his hides. He just lays there. He shows no intrest in food. HELP!
is tape safe for fixing something in my leopard geckos hide?
