Well i have to travel about 300km for the holiday for 5 days, and I would like to take my beardie with me as i don't trust any one to take care of him properly, Is there any tips for travelling with a beardie? should i keep a heat lamp in the car with me? I have a plug in i can plug into the ciggarette lighter and plug the lamp into it. Do i have to worry about relocation anxiety or anything that could cause harm? Any answers, tips or suggestions would be appreciated. Thanks =)

Just to note it is going to be about -9 to -18 celcius outside.

Thanks

Hi there,
If you have no one to look after him the stress of having improper lighting scedual and food would be much greater than the stress of moving him in my opinion.
All you need to worry about is keeping him warm and hydrated during your trip.
If you have a plug in lamp thats fantastic, but myself, and other members have managed trips with just handwarmers/hotwater bottles and very snug dragons.

What I use when I need to travel is an old hamster enclosure I got from a charity shop. Its rectangular and has a clear top so she could see out of it.
Id put a blanket in first. Then a hot water bottle. Then another blanket up to her shoulders so she could look out. And Voila! Snug as a bug in a mobile home!

Im sure a big rubbermaid tub would do just fine.
