TOO much UV?

Hey

Is it possible for our beardie to get TOO much UV?

For the past couple of weeks his favourite spot has been spread flat out on his log under his UV light. He is his usual happy self, active, eating and pooping like normal, and getting wound up by our kitten who wants to play! Some days he will fall asleep on the log, be there in the morning and STILL be there when we get home!

I'm not overly worried about him, just not sure if too much UV is bad for him :S

Thanks for any help!

Kate :)

I am pretty sure all is ok. They are very good at regulating themselves and he would move to the cool end if he got uncomfortable. Are your temps hot enough? If he isnt going over to the cooler end at all it may be because his temps are a little too cool. If they are spot on then he is obviously just a heat worhsipper :)

I think it's uvb that can hurt them if they get too close (hence the 6-8inches rule).
