Too much carrot?

Bowser is having his first day of being under the weather since I got him in December. He had a large "carroty" poop this morning because I think I gave him too much carrot yesterday. I only give him some carrot once or twice a week. His appetite is not great today, and I had to hand-feed him his crickets, whereas he usually dives off his basking spot to catch them.
Do you think this will only be a day thing? If he's still acting this way tomorrow, should I take him to the vet? He seems to be snoozing with his eyes closed today, too, which he doesn't usually do during the day.
(I unfortunately did not think to get a pic of his poop before I cleaned it up.)

They will have orange poops when they eat a lot of carrot so you can cut those down in his diet. Greens are the staple veg diet, kale, mustard, turnip, collards, arugula, bok choy.
He might have just a bit of an upset tummy but will probably be fine. :)

Okay, thanks. He seemed to be a little better later in the day and actually caught crickets on his own. I got him some more fresh veggies today, including his favorite: butternut squash. So, hopefully, he will feel better tomorrow.

Mirage came out of brumation on April 26. He was doing great. On May 2 he started acting funny. We just redid his tank, and he keeps going into one of his hides. He just lays there. He shows no intrest in food. HELP!
