Just looking for some quick opinions here...
Kora was bred on 4/22-4/24. She was 530 grams when bred. On 4/29 she was 540 grams, and now on May 3 she is 553 grams. Is this too soon for her to be cooking up fertile eggs? I'm almost afraid she was cooking up some infertiles before she was bred. It does seem like she's gaining weight at a steady rate and eating like a HORSE though. I'm just wondering if she's getting too big too soon after the breeding, which would mean these won't be fertile because they were forming before she was bred. Her stomach is HUGE...I will try to get a pic if that will help. I can't palpate any eggs, nor can I see any but she is a big mama.
Any ideas? On another note...she has been SWEET as pie to me lately, not that she isn't already a sweetheart but she just seems so much more cuddly and wanting to spend more time with me lately. She also loves her baths and has gotten a bit more lazy than normal.
Thanks guys! I'm anxiously awaiting!
