Hi there

So after my BD had a loose number two I started to worry. Next day she had a very loose number 2 and it STANK!!!! So three things I decided to do.

A. Just feed crickets not roach or silk worms
B. Cut down to only 13 crickets
C. Warm the crickets up under a lamp because they are the frozen type.

Yesterday her number two was pretty much back to normal. So now I will continue with just crickets for today and tomorrow i will reintroduce the roach and see what happens

My question to you is have you ever had problems when feeding frozen protein as in defrosted but too cold for your BD? I am now warming up as I said and seems to be working. I will update as this process of elimination goes along.

Adding onto this

Today was again loose so i know its not the roach or silk worms. The only thing left is veg. Today My other half told me she changed the veg so that is the cause I can pretty much guarantee.

Tomorrow is back to her original veg and see what happens. If not its off to the vet

A change in diet could definitely cause an upset stomach. Crickets can cause poop to stink more than other foods. I haven't tried feeding frozen or dried crickets as I prefer to gutload the bugs beforehand and give some interaction included with hunting down bugs. If it stays loose or exceptionally stinky then I agree with your idea to bring a sample to the vet for analysis as it could be parasites.
