SO.... it wouldn't let me use the search so if this was already answered....sorry.... i bought beauf a spiffy little rock for basking that doubles as a cave..... he would walk by and peek in but never went in there, so being as inovative as i could, i stuffed him in there one day..... well, turns out he loves his cave and he is in my living room so he sees people always.....if i leave the house (past his viv) for more than a half an hour, he goes in there and buries the door shut..... i have resorted to making him come out and putting him on top at least an hour before dinner so he can warm up, but for the sake of science, i left him one day to see if he would come out on his own.....about 10:30 the next morning he popped his head out and looked around like. ...huh, that was a nice nap..... alot of time he will go in and turn around and stick his head out like he is spying on me but when i see his sand flinging, i know he's not coming back and he wil stay in there for hours.......is this ok or is he going to cause himself some sort or problem that i should know about.. ..or do i have the first lizard that has seperation anxiety......... he is already mad at me since i moved him where he can't see the tv....... but the cave hiding seem like it is more frequent now that he can't watch sponge bob........ and on that note, when he could see the tv, he would completely lose interest in his bugs if cartoons came on......ugghh.....beauford.....
