tip of tail is kinda dark grey/ black? help!

ok so my beardie shed last week for the 2nd time.. the first time he had a shed, his body was skin free except for his tail so i assisted him and i peeled it off and his tail was fine.. last week was his 2nd shed and again all the skin on his body was off, except for the tail, so i peeled it off of him... now maybe an inch at the end is discolored? dark greyish? whats the deal???

His tail may not have been ready to shed. Often times, they shed in pieces (head, legs, body, tail.. in no particular order).

You really should not 'assist' them in shedding unless it is obvious they are having issues with a hard shed. The only thing you should do is make sure their humidity is good, and mostly, give them extra baths. Soak them in slightly warm water for longer and more often than you normally would.

I hate to think what may have happened to his tail, but I imagine that if you left it alone, it will heal. Next time, leave it be, and he will shed he is ready.
Overall, I think it will probably be fine, but a picture might help.

he's sleeping now so i dont want to disturb him, but its kinda dark grey... i wouldnt say black.. and its about the last inch of his tale?? is it going to fall off?
