I have been struggling to get rid of these tiny little flies for some months now. I have cleaned the colony and replace egg crates a few times, but they keep showing up. I don't know what they are or where they came from, but I think they are laying eggs in or on my adults somehow because I am having a lot of die offs every day. someone please help me!!

Get a clean bin with a screen in top. Get new egg flats. Remove all the dead dubia you can find and start putting them in the new enclosure. More than likely they are fruit flies.
