tiny bump on tail?

hi again! i noticed a small bump on chompys tail last night and was wondering about it. he’s getting ready to start shedding in that area, so that’s what i thought it could be, but i don’t know for sure. it’s kinda difficult to see in the pics. it’s not really hard but it’s not soft either; like it’s the same amount of squishy as the rest of his tail but slightly different. i don’t have enough money to bring him to the vet at the moment.

other info: in a 120 gal tank w 160w heat light and 24w 22” t5 10.0 uvb tube light. eats mainly arugula and collard greens w squash here and there- all dusted w calcium & d3. eats superworms (dusted) and crickets (loaded). he’s a year and a half old, 23” and roughly 515 grams
