We are going to switching to tile soon. When we looked at the 12 x 12in. tiles we noticed they were actually 11.75 x 11.75in. This will now be leaving us with a 1/4in. gap along one side of our 50gal tank, and a 1/2in. gap along one side of our 65gal tank. We arent going to be grouting becuase we want to be able to remove the tiles to be cleaned, so we were told we could make a wedge to keep the tiles nice and night agaisnt one another.
Any ideas on what we can use for a wedge?
If we baught the tiles from Lowes, do you know if we can bring them into Osh or Home Depot to be cut, or do you have to buy the tiles from them in order to be cut by them? We dont have a tile cutter and the one at Lowes is broke at the moment.
Here is a basic image of where the gap is. The bigger tank is our females, the smaller one, our new babie's tank.
