If I remember correctly, the reason why you "get unsubscribed" to your own threads is by not posting anything in that thread for a week or more after receiving the email notification.

What you can do to ensure that you get to see if new posts were made to your threads is (if you haven't already):
1) Bookmark
- open page one of the thread
- go to the bottom of the screen and look for

- go to the User Control Panel (UCP), click on the Overview tab, and click on Manage bookmarks
or
2) Subscribe
- open page one of the thread
- go to the bottom of the screen and look for

• - You'll then see this message:
  

- go to UCP and click on Manage subscriptions to view all of the threads that you had subscribed to
