As some may know my little Thor is growing well. More then doubled in size since I got him ~2 months ago. I have him on a very varied diet. He has shown a flighty, aggressive attitude toward me in the past and the more I have been hand feeding him he has been coming around more and more. Progress! He is in a 40 gallon breeder enclosure, 24 inch Reptisun 10.0 (2/3 enclosure length) Has a piece of decor I got from a local pet shop, the piece was broken (which I fixed) so I got it for half price  This decor allows him to get 6 inches from his UV source and ~6 inches from his primary basking light. His basking temperature is ~107-111°F. He is provided a daily salad which he does eat. Dusting per a preferred dusting schedule. Only RepCal supplements used. Has a low profile large diameter water dish. Reptile carpet substrate a hammock and a vine used to help get up his basking decor. The basking decor doubles for shade, UV cover. Thor is bathed 2 times a week.

Typical daily diet - ~50-70 1/4 crickets, 15-20 small silkworms, ~2-5 small butterworms, 1-4 small hornworms. He gets an occasional wax worm when I have them has had reptiworms in the past. Thor has yet to deny any feeder offered.

I will get pictures up on this thread of him soon. I will leave this with a question... anything I can improve on?

When I was taking pictures, Ifrit started to get all crazy and Thor was waving. Odd fro him to wave but, you can see just how big this guys feet are in comparison. LOL

HIJACK - Michael, did you mention before that OpenOffice was a free download! I have the strangest feeling that Excel does not work properly on my computer :banghead:

Now, back to Thor! My GOODNESS! He is huge!! cant believe how quickly he has grown... I half expected him to take a month or so off from all that weight gain! Has his growth rate in terms of length slowed down a lot recently?

Thor is ~8-9 months or so.. I guess anyways.
Yes his growth rate in terms of length has slowed drastically, he has only put on .25 inches over the span of about 1 month.

Openoffice is a free download.

I think everyone wants to feed their beardies whatever you feed yours because of growth rates

I know I bought a bunch of worms because of your thread lol All your beardies look amazing!

Ahh... I had made a few posts in the past of his feeding schedules and what was fed.

Mainly now though he eats female turkistan roaches, butterworms, hornworms and his salads.
He doesn't care to much for male turkistan roaches for some reason.. perhaps they just don't appeal to him.
He will eat silkworms here and there, and sometimes he will eat superworms for treats.

Main feeder has always been and most likely will always be butterworms with him though.

Still being fed 1-2 times a day for feeders and of course daily salad.

Salad consists of ~50% collard greens, and ~50% mixture of mustard greens and spring mix.

Consistent proper dusting schedule 3x a week for calcium wD3 and 2 times a week multivitamins for him as he eats allot of buterworms (high in calcium).

Lucky lucky Thor! Butterworms are tyrus' favorite too but he only gets 2-3 a day lol otherwise he won't eat his crickets.

Sorry to hijack but @ Halister: it all depends on the size of the worm. Butters vary in size.

I just set Swordtail's timer for his bath and paused it so I could actually fill his soaking bowl up and he crawled over my phone and canceled the timer 🤣
Mirage came out of brumation on April 26. He was doing great. On May 2 he started acting funny. We just redid his tank, and he keeps going into one of his hides. He just lays there. He shows no intrest in food. HELP!
