Alright then. I just came into two pastel bearded dragons, Schmiddix and Schwab, both of fairly good size. I'd say they're each about 12 inches long from tail to snout, and one is slightly fatter than the other. I currently have them in what I'm guessing to be about a 55 gallon aquarium with a screen top, with some nice driftwood elevation, a little hide-away log, and a rock bridge for basking.
I'm giving some serious thought to changing their habitat to something a little more airy. I was wondering if this is a good or a bad idea. Their temp stays very optimal in the aquarium, and a completely screen enclosure sounds like it might not stay as warm. On the other hand they might enjoy a little extra airflow, and the elevation it would add for slightly loftier perches.
What do you guys think? Any feedback would be greatly appreciated.
