There's something wrong with my baby beardie

I think my baby beardie Eragon once again ate something too big. The first time wasn't as severe and he passed it but this time it's taking longer. His back legs were just hanging, his front legs were shaking and he was unresponsive and limp. I read that these are signs of paralysis from the large thing being digested is putting pressure on the spine. I took him off his stomach for a bit and put him under a heat lamp to aid in digestion. I also soaked him for a bit and he drank a little which is good. It's been an hour now and he's a little bit more responsive and he's looking like he'll be ok but I don't know for sure. His sister Saphira is worried for him I can tell she's constantly all over him and licking him and when I try to touch him or move him she gets defensive. Anyway, should I get veterinary assistance or see how it goes? (They are both a little over a month old)

If you have an experienced reptile vet nearby it is probably worth a visit. An x-ray would likely show an impaction. In the meantime, drop water on his nose in hopes he'll lick it up to stay well hydrated. You may also want to drop a little olive oil or offer some baby food applesauce which may help him pass a blockage.

What kind of UBV are you using??
You can also rub his belly in a 100 degree bath.

I would personally try to massage it out with a bath, just by gently rubbing the belly.

But yeah, definitely get him to the vet sooner than later.

Hello,

Let us know how he is doing. What insect or food that was too large, did he eat?
Try to keep the tank a little warmer over night too, just to help expedite digestion for him also right now.
