I would like to introduce Ghost. He is a BEAUTIFUL 9 month old Marketed Leucistic. I just picked him up a about 1-1/2 hours ago. I don't think he has much if any relocation stress. He has already basked, pooped, and eaten in his new home. I have him housed in a 75 gallon tank with paper towels for his substrate. I am using a 160w Mercury Vapor bulb and 24" Repti-glo 10.0 UVB bulb. I am so thrilled to have this beautiful creature in my home.

Ghost is doing well! He is eating well and seems to be pretty happy. He has still not completely warmed up to me, but we are working on that. I take him out and let him roam around a bit each night while I clean his cage. He is definitely a curious little guy. He also LOVE the addition of Phoenix Worms to his diet. He actually doesn't want to eat his crickets anymore (I only had them because they came with Ghost). Here are a couple of new pics.

Ghost is doing great. He is adjusting well to his new home and to me. I do have a question though. Neither of my dragons really drink. I have tried lots of things to make sure they get the water they need, but nothing has worked.

I soak Ghost 2-3 times a week and my 10 week old daily, but neither one has ever taken a drink of the water. I have tried putting water in a little syringe and dripping it on or near their mouths, but they don't drink it. I have also just turned the faucet on low and held them in my hands with their nose near the running water and they still don't drink (Gannicus did 1 time). Any other suggestions?

I have heard that if you flavor the water they will almost always drink away, but what do I flavor it with? Any help on this would be great!

Another update:

Ghost is still doing well. He has pretty well adjusted to me and his new home. He has been with me for 2 weeks today. I have been concerned about his poo, as it has been unbearable!! it stinks so bad that it literally stinks up the entire apartment when he goes. I purchased a fecal float kit from beardeddragon.co along with some Toltrazuril and Fenbendezole, just so I would have it on hand if needed. I performed a fecal float test on him this morning and found the the Coccidia count was pretty high, so I gave him a dose of the Toltrazuril today and will give another tomorrow. So far it does not seem to have affected his appetite and I have been giving him a little water through a feeding syringe as well as daily bath to keep him well hydrated. I have also ordered a bottle of Acidopholiz+ to help rebuild the good bacteria in his gut.

I did also find a couple of pinworms in the fecal test so I will be treating that next. I just didn't want to force too much on him at once. Hopefully with these two parasites gone his poo will return to normal soon.

here are a couple of new pics:

Handsome boy!

Bummer about the coccidia. If the fecal float test easy enough to understand? I've been on and off again about ordering it myself.

I couldn't tell you an average price because I got what I think is a GREAT deal. I found him locally, the woman I got him from got 2 dragons thinking one was a male and the other a female. When she learned that they were both male she decided that she needed to get rid of one so she had room for a female. I only paid $80 for him and was THRILLED!!

I know that the Marketed Leucistics can be difficult to find and I would imagine that you would spend $200-$400 from a reputable breeder. I may be wrong and someone with more knowledge may chime in and correct me.

I just set Swordtail's timer for his bath and paused it so I could actually fill his soaking bowl up and he crawled over my phone and canceled the timer 🤣
Mirage came out of brumation on April 26. He was doing great. On May 2 he started acting funny. We just redid his tank, and he keeps going into one of his hides. He just lays there. He shows no intrest in food. HELP!
is tape safe for fixing something in my leopard geckos hide?
