There is a Ghost in my house!

He is about 17" and 1 yr in about a week. According to my herp vet, he should be right around 350-400g. She said the #1 problem with adult dragons is obesity. I have another appointment for Ghost in Jan. (if he's not brumating) and she will give her opinion on his weight again then.

He should be to a point at 1yr that he is not eating as many bugs and more greens, but I have been feeding him just like I do my 5 mo old dragon. He has been getting as many Repti-worms as he wants and has fresh greens in his enclosure every day. He rarely touches the greens and devours his worms. I think I need to teach him better eating habits.

That's not fun. I had to do that with Gannicus a while back for about a week. It was almost more work than his normal routine. He just wasn't eating anything, so in order to get him eating I had to do the baby food with some olive oil in it. I think he had a small impaction because after a few days of baby food, warm baths, and belly rubs, he had the biggest poo I have seen from a dragon (and i've seen some pretty big dragon poos).

Now he jumps on his worm dish before I even have a chance to set it down.

Nope, Jace just has random - I don't wanna eat moments. This one has been longer than the last one. I have him on CC and bee pollen as well to boost him up, but it's up to him to decide it's all right to eat again.
