the water bowl

Well I just got done cleaning the cage and as i was washing everything i was thinking :study: do i really need this big of a water place. it is like over a foot wide like 6 in deep tub. they dont really go in there that often and it is taken up a good amount of room. thy still have a lot of space but if i took it out there would be way more.

SOOOO.. what do u all think i should use insted for water? i kno they dont rele like water all that much thats y i soak alot but they still need it in there. so any advice???

Maybe just a smaller dish? Like a heavier/ceramic cat food dish.
I can understand wanting to take out the big thing and give them more space.

You dont need a water bowl if you bathe them

I don't use water dishes it creates to much humidity for me with the MVB's. I just bath mine daily or weekly if they are brumating. I will put one in the little beardie Bender's viv for an hour a day when he is shedding besides giving the baths only because he likes to play in it. Once they get larger they don't show any interest in it at all. On top of giving baths I also offer water a couple times a day in case they want it. Most of my beardies will drink water from my hand...if I run the water in my hand at the kitchen sink....or from a dropper.

ok thank you all for your help i did take out the big bowl and i have this like lil bowl the size of my just n case becuase i work alotttt lol and its there if they need it
