The Terrible Trio - Herk-A-Birthday!!

Since I am finding it more and more difficult to keep updating 4-5 threads, I have decided to start a new one that captures the antics and pics of ALL of my dragons...Nero, Dude, Sweetie-Boo, Calliope and Hercules.

From now on I will be updating this thread... and every day is an adventure here in Beardie-Land :mrgreen:

I hope that everyone will continue to follow the lives of my babies.

HI All,

I haven't started my new job yet... had to go for the TB test this morning so it should be Thursday or so before I can actually start work. Feeling much better... man that vertigo stuff is not something I would ever wish on anyone. I'm not sure what was more annoying... being dizzy all of the time or being chaufferred everywhere since I couldn't drive :roll: Oh well, thank goodness THAT's over.

Now tell me. Is this not the saddest thing you've ever seen??

It looks like Herk's man-boobs have gone south for the winter... AND IT'S NOT EVEN WINTER :roll: :mrgreen:

Seriously, he still eats like every meal is his last and what girl does he think is going to be attracted to that :shock:

I need to drag my scale out of storage. I have no idea how much he weighs now. I would guess he has surpassed the 700 gram mark. He is already 23 inches long. Not even a year old yet...

Start my new job tomorrow. Looking forward to it as I am getting cabin fever for having sat around here for the past couple of weeks :evil:

All the vivs got a scrub down today and baths all around. Oh and it was worm day too, so Herky was especially happy about that. I picked up some of that Adult Bearded Dragon food just to see if any of them will eat it. I plan on adding some to the salads on "off-worm" day.

I guess we'll see :wink:

Robin are those the RepCal brand beardie food? You have to let me know how the beardie pellets go...please. :wink: I've used them for years but mine only eat the green ones they, not one, will not touch the red or gold. :roll: :lol: I can't figure it out they taste the same...yes I tasted them. :| I end up using the red and gold ones as feeder food. :lol:

Well, I haven't eaten beardie bites yet. LOL My father has eaten his share of meal worms and other assorted items most Americans would consider GROSS.

Oh Robin one thing I wanna tell you is don't freak out when they poop a torquiose-ish color the beardie bites do that. :lol: Like feeding children green beans or asparagus. :lol:

They are the Rep-Cal brand, Barb and I will definitely let you know the outcome. I have a feeling that I know of at least ONE beardie that will eat them :roll: More than likely the one that will eat the cheerios from the feeder tongs :shock:

Nero is kind of a food snob these days... I can't get him to eat any of the produce he used to eat before he became a "man"... although he has finally decided that collards are NOT that bad. They keep so much better than the mustards and so when I go shopping I buy 2 bunches of collards and 1 bunch of mustards and mix them. I usually end up with a mixture that lasts me about a week. So much better than having to buy greens every other day.

Yes Sara, he is quite big... he still insists on laying in the hammock although because of his size it would serve him better as a cape :lol:

I do have to say, ladies, that I have never taste tested anything the dragons eat... I'm just not that adventurous.
