The Dragon and The "wolf" Brumation signs?

I finally was able to put Fafnir's blog up!!

Here he is asleep. this was his second night with me! 8)

Things he does:
Basking
glass dancing when he sees me prepping phoenix worms
destroying phoenix worms
chasing crickets after mommy rips off their back legs
ignoring and pooping in greens
tasting chopped up blueberries (this is new to him)
worrying mommy while daddy laughs at her.
climbing onto mommy's face when it's bath time.
sleeping with his nose against anything.

while putting fafnir to sleep, he got to roam around the bed for a bit. im laying down and he jumps up onto my arm. then he crawls onto my shoulder and then my ear his claws tickle and then he tried to nestle up there. lol

Aww, how cute. I miss mine being that little! They grow SO FAST.

lol congrats on the roaches! I still cannot touch a big one, one crawled on my toe because I was trying to blocks it's path for my boyfriends dragon, so she could see it and oh my goodness, I screamed as if I was being murdered! haha. The babies grossed me out for a bit. I barely poke in my breeder bin but my feeder bin which has all baby dubias, I now stick my hand in and scoop them up. I think of them as baby rollie-pollies (rolly-pollies?) since they kinda look alike

thanx! that ant smasher game is kinda helping with my roach phobia. ill still use tongs for awhile. my sis has more guts than i do. she let a madagascar hissing roam her arm! *shudder* i hope my beardie loves 'em! lol

If their feet feel anything like the Dubias, I'd shudder too... It feels like little velcro strips sticking to you.. uughh. I bet he will! Bandit attacked them with force the first time she saw them. I sat there with my mouth wide open in disbelief haha. They seem so innocent until you introduce new food to them, lol.

when i first introduced him to phoenix worms he didnt care for them. now he eats them like no tomorrow. now if only he'll eat his veggies

I get the same way with my dragon..I gave him baby food squash, he didn't care for it at first either since he's never
had squash in his life, now he loves it and willingly opens his mouth when I feed it to him.

Fafnir enjoys the Pear baby food. But He's eh on the squash. i gonna try acorn of fresh butternut, grated into worm-like shreds. I tried the Strip style, he didn't go for it.

update: ok so the hammock that i bought for him. He is now on it For long periods of time. i guess when I first installed it into his viv, he must've thought something Matrix-liked happened. lol That's how my Bf put it. I'm always fidgeting with his viv. but he enjoys it now and it gets him away from and any crickets that i might've missed. I do leave a carrot in there so they don't snack on my Dragon :study: he dug his cute little claws in my heart. lol :whip:

just got the order of roaches. not as cute as i thought. but my fafnir loves them. put in some oranges and will watch the magic. but i will go get a bigger tub. it came in a plastic shoe box...i didnt expect the package to be so small...

fafnir gave me his hypnotic glare. "feed me...roaches!" lol he didnt touch his phoenix worms until i put a dubia in there. im a bit concerned about their shells tho. hmmm

I hear phoenix worms are good every dragon loves them, cept mine, which is weird.
I never hear an impaction from PW, mealworms I hear about impaction.

oh i was talking about the dubias they seem like they have hard exoskeleton. and yea my bf and i officially hate crickets. a big one escaped and bit his toe then hopped away before i could smash it

Oh LOL. my bad, yeah roaches i never had a problem with them, then again I don't feed them everyday.
I never had a problem with crix either but they can be not PG-13 word here

You're welcome. Not a fan of crix but roaches I love to watch them get eaten.
I'm personally afraid of roaches there's a reason for it but as long as I got my
"protector" to eat them I'm okay.
