The "Bligg" Arrival ... New Pics(pg112)

Hello Everyone!

For those of you who do not already know... I am about to welcome the newest member of my family.... Bligg!
He is on his way to my house right now... via the big brown viv.. aka as UPS

Bligg is one of Barbara's (fresnowitte) babies born out of wedlock to Ms.Tiggs and Blaze. His name I came up with by blending his parents names together.... Blaze + Tigg = Bligg :wink:

Here is the story of Bligg.... the little beardie who has been melting my heart for the past 56 days and will very soon be here at his forever home in Florida!

Bligg was born on July 15th in a small farm house in Fresno, CA.

Bligg on my birthday last month... BTW... Bligg is my b'day present to myself

Okay.... I need another cup of coffee and a peek out the window(it's only the 37th time I've done it :roll: )

I'm not too tired. I thought I'd pull a Dawn and give her some nice pumpkins, since know she prefers the not-so-nice pumpkins

Sorry Vicky and Dawn for my laggin on the pumpkin bashing I haven't felt to well but I think I can muster up enough energy to toss a couple around tonight for you girlies to find in the morning. :lol:

I figured it was about time I got my act together and posted some pics of not only Bligg, but the rest of my clan as well. :mrgreen:

Starting with the Bliggster of course! I don't know if any of you remember, but about a month ago or so I found this wonderful little set up. Someone had built it for their bunnies and then dropped it off at a local pet store. I saw it sitting out front and asked what they wanted for it. 10 bucks later.. it was mine! Bligg and Rex love it. It is much bigger than the other one I had.

Rex doing what Rex does best and enjoying every minute of it.

Bonnie and Peanut taking a little nap. This is a rare sight. Bonnie(dog) is terrified of Peanut(cat). Peanut had jumped up on the couch to snuggle in and Bonnie froze in that position. She would not move anything but her eyes, for fear that the big bad kitty was going to eat her.

My little friend that used to come and lay in the sun next to my porch up until a few weeks ago. I am hoping that Peanut ONLY scared him away. :shock: I miss my little buddy.

We get alot of snakes in our yard. Here is another one that was passing through.

My son carved the one on the left and I did the one on the right.

Did you notice how I said the last one "was" hubby's pumpkin? :roll:
Well unfortunately, this is what happens to a pumpkin after 4 days of Florida's humidity.

And no, that is not my cat Peanut coming out of my son's pumpkin, LOL

ok, if that's what happened in just 4 days humidity, I am shocked that you don't have a layer of gray fur too! :shock: (or do you just have to shave it off daily?!) haa haa love you girlie!

Love the pics Dawn, and the outdoor cage, looks like it would be easy to make, of course, if I had the strength and the tools, but I bet it's well used.
Can't believe the pumpkins, great carves, but YUK, that's what humidity does, give me the cold winters any day. :wink:

Oh, the humidity here can be horrendous!

You can keep your snakles right there with your humidity. :lol:

SNAKLES, huh?! :lol: You don't like snakes? I love snakes! I find them to be very fascinating and amazing creatures. I had always wanted one, but would rather have a reptile with a little personality, so I went with beardies. :wink:

Hi Dawn, thought I would check in, haven't posted here in a while. That outdoor enclosure is great, you sure got that for a great price. Sounds like they both enjoy it. Bligg & Rex both look great, are they both brumating or just Rex?

I have to agree with Barb, you can keep your snakies right there with you.

Diane... actually Bligg is the one hiding out the most. Rex has been a bit lazy, but is up every day. Bligg on the other hand would stay under his basking rock unless I pulled him out. He did get a long soak today and then helped me clean out my closet, LOL. Little boogar was into everything. Heck, he came real close to being thrown out with some old papers a few times :shock: :lol: Gotta love the little stinkers.
