Hey guys, do beardies go through a "terrible teens" phase?
Ezzie is about 11-12 months old and has started to act crazy! Ezzie glass dances so much, head bobs like crazy, and when shes is out all she does is run around exploring and headbobbing at things. watching her explore is actually very funny, but Im just worried about her in her tank, running back and forth, hitting the glass and headbobbing like mad...if it will stress her out too much or what?

for those people with beardies around that age, do yours do the same? or did yours do this and they grew out of it? Please let me know!!

Thanks!!!

Actually, I think she is a he...Im just used to saying she cuz thats what I thought it was when I got her lol...does it make a difference if its a male or female?

Also, Ezzie's tank is right across from my other guy, Quasi, so maybe Ezzie is just flipping out cuz he can see Quasi all the time?

If I moved their tanks around so they couldnt see each other, do you think it would make a difference?

Moving their tanks could make a difference. When my beardie stayed at my boyfriends house, we had to do everything we could to keep them from seeing each other or he went nuts. Beardie, not boyfriend.

I need to keep my two males out of each others' sights because even a glimpse of the other sets off crazy head-bobbing, black-bearding, and arm-waving. Maybe it's like that for male/female dragons, too.

Amigo's head bobbing is directed at his teddy bear, his dump truck, his hammock, his basking spot, his light, his dubia, the bath tub, the dog, me, my hubby, the floor, the wall, pretty much anything and everything he sees. If he can get close to it he head bobs it.

So I separated them today to see if it would make a difference, it didnt seem too lol...Ezzie was still head bobbing like crazy, also had her out for about an hour, and he still head bobbed at everything (pillows, computer, phone). So Im hoping this is just a phase, something Ezzie will grow out of...

Its kinda funny when Puff head bobs xD, When we changed to the 100 gallon tank and i have let him out he stopped near the huge terrarium and started to headbob, and when i don't let him to go somwehere where he wants to go he starts to head bob, when my dog barks, he starts to headbob, when he sees a softshell mealworm he starts to head bobb and after he eats it -.- but its kinda funny and cute :DD my male teen drago is about 10-11 months old I think he will be 12 months old in january , his beard is nearly all black , but hes the whole time black when hes basking -.- and Then starts to head bob again...

Mirage came out of brumation on April 26. He was doing great. On May 2 he started acting funny. We just redid his tank, and he keeps going into one of his hides. He just lays there. He shows no intrest in food. HELP!
is tape safe for fixing something in my leopard geckos hide?
Day 3 of brumation. It's a struggle. I really miss my little guy. 😔
