hey everyone i was wondering if you had some tips on getting my baby bearded dragon to eat salad? i have had him for around maybe 2 weeks now and he eats mostly crickets but iv been puting greens in his food bowl so he gets used to it but he seems to want no part of them lol :p i tried putting tiny carrots chopped up really small aswell along with the greens and still no luck :p also tried moving the greens around to get him interested but yea he doesnt seem to want them :p he just runs around the tank :p i read that they dont normally eat greens (alot of them) untill there a bit older but i was told to put them in his bowl anyways while hes young so its easier to teach him. anyways thanks for the help any tips will be appreciated :D

In England they call it "rocket." Someone just said the other day what it was called here in the U.S., but I forgot. If and when I recover from my senior moment, I'll check back in.

haha, gooood, theres a thread on here somewhere where somebdys beardie stoped eating vegtables, maybe have a look at that, i'll get the link in a minute.a beardie should eat veg out of instinct shouldnt they? :banghead: my beardie when i put him in my new viv walked around a bit then had a nibble from the dish. another thing they quite like is curly kale apparently, but i havent tried that one yet! he should just eat it when he feels like it? they wouldnt be taught in the wild?

well you would think they would naturally eat it but mines a baby that iv only had for a couple weeks now and i think hes slowly learning :p so far i tried mustard greens, collard greens, and kayle and so far he only likes the kayle. he doesnt straight up eat it but he nibbles at them from time to time. i think when hes a bit bigger he will be more into it.

Our beardie loves rocket (arugula) and cilantro, we try to mix that with collard, and kale, but he just picks out what he wants, hehe.

Mirage came out of brumation on April 26. He was doing great. On May 2 he started acting funny. We just redid his tank, and he keeps going into one of his hides. He just lays there. He shows no intrest in food. HELP!
