Last night while scrolling thru dragon blogs on here. I decided to use my amazingly organized beardie albums, to make a blog of my two boys.
Let's start with introductions. Before December 27th 2016 I've never cared for any reptiles, only (mostly) normal animals. I've always had dogs and cats, and about seven years ago I got into chickens and ducks I have over 30 chickens. Different breeds and mixes. I've incubated my own hens eggs twice before, now, back on topic. My first bearded dragon was a Christmas gift. After research on different types of reptiles I decided on the loving and brilliant bearded dragon. Now on to the dragons.
Mushu
This is the first picture of Mushu, laying on my sister, he came from a very sad local pet store that has since shut down. He and his setup ( tank, food and water dish, reptile carpet, double light dome and both uvb and heating bulbs witch were switched out with proper lights soon after) were under 100 dollars. He didn't have a lot of energy or appetite when we picked him up. It took a few weeks of hand feeding to get him up and going. Mushu was six inches in length ( with about half an inch off the end of his tail) and six grams at his first look over. After he started eating, like a pig, he grew rapidly
MOOOM I want out!
All big and bad
This is my arm now
Little love bug
Valentines Dragon
Getting big!
Soo big!
Is that a bird!? AKA outside time.
While Mushu looks huge in this pic he's only 16 inches.
Halloween time! I don't know his exact age, I presume, he was born sometime in October. So birthday too!
Sleepy Dragon
Mushu loves car rides :love5:
Foreman Mushu. Mushu watched diligently as the construction of the deck went on yesterday.
Mushu is currently 16 inches long and at last weigh in 421 grams.
Mushu's a little hefty now, witch I'm working on getting him to drop a little weight. For about a month Mushu had a bad attitude and little to no appetite. He lost some weight and was angry all the time, only happy when in a window or on a car ride. He'd glass suff for hours if you let him. I think his incoming hormones got the best of him. Now he's a happy and healthy, if a little fat, dragon.
Yoshi
This is Yoshihe was brought home Nov 19th 2017. My brother was in the hospital, due to his own *****ic choices, and my mom was quite upset. I asked my parents to stop by a pet store to get some worms as a treat for Mushu when they went to go see my brother. I get a text a few hours later "what all do we need for a baby bearded dragon". That's how we got little yoshi, as an impulse buy, because my mom was upset about my brother and I asked for worms, witch I didn't even get! The first week or so yoshi's tank had to be continously changed, they only got the bare minimum of what he'd need that fist day. Yoshi is very rambunctious, especially compared to a young Mushu, and inquisitive. I've been taking pictures every weekend since we got him.
Look at the tiny thing!
Quit messin' with my tank so I can go back!
First time in the window.
First meeting with Mushu
First car ride
Merry Christmas!
Chair time.

Yoshi has quite the appetite he loves his buggies and his salad. He doesn't like sleeping in his tank very much but loves falling asleep in my bed!
I hope to update weekly on the stuff these guys do, adventures, fun times and more pictures.
Bye from, The Dragons
