Tail Rot

Hi Everybody,

I have a 1 year old female bearded dragon, Muchu. I suspect Muchu may have tail rot. Since she was little I have noticed that her color slowly diminishes as her tail goes down, however this afternoon I pulled her out and noticed the darkness had spread significantly just since this morning. I suspect she may have tail rot, but I wanted confirmation from someone more experienced with beardies (she is my first.)

Muchu and I are currentlly fighting to pull her out of MBD, so she is on the skinny side but we are working on it. Could this have anything to do with the tail issue?

If she does have tail rot, what are our options? Home remedies? Ve appointment? If the vet is necessary what should I expect to be done to treat her?

No need to worry its not tail rot. Looks like an upcoming shed to me, however if its not then it could just be the natural darkening of the tail.

You will definitely know tail rot when you see it, the tail would basically look dead and i suppose dried up would be a word to describe it.
