T.J., Toothless Junior

My bearded dragons name is T.J., which stands for Toothless Junior.

He is about a year old and quite cute! We got him on October 16,2011. He's a little timid and afraid of ceiling fans :lol: . I believe he is male ( by the looks of things.) He is about 17 inches long. He knows who I am and he loves me and I love him back.

You guys will not believe what happened to T.J. yesterday. So, I brought him to school. My teacher also has a beardie who is a female. So when I showed him Ziva(as is her name) he started to head bob, and Ziva started to arm wave. A little while later, T.J. tried to mate with her :shock: . I was REALLY surprised. At least I know he's a boy now! :lol:

Yep, he's a male, and at prime breeding age! In other words, he's just past adolescence & his hormones are in full gear. Beardie sex takes less than a second, so if he gets on top of a female and grabs her neck, he's probably already done the deed! Hope you got him off her before that happened! Males are crazy when it comes to females, they will breed constantly!

So otherwise, did he make a hit at your school with everyone? He's such a handsome beardie & I really love that beard!

Yeah, he grabbed her neck, but I hope he didn't do the deed yet. That would be bad. My teacher DOES NOT want any baby beardies. He jumped on her all of a sudden. Everyone loved him. At the end of the day he pooped in my hand. I DID NOT like that! Every one loved him though.

Awww, he was just showing how thankful he was for having fun all day :lol: Don't you hate it when they poop where they shouldn't? Happens all the time. I'm lucky, they're all trained to poop in the am, once that's done I can take them out, but they're all older than TJ so that might explain it. Sure glad you had a good day, though!

Hey! Sorry I haven't been on in a while! T.J. grew a whole inch and a quarter while I was gone! He was 17 inches and now he is 18 and one-quarter! Yay! I was also wondering if anyone knew what morph T.J. might be. I saw a red flame in a book and I think it might be him. Here is a pic...

Hey! Sorry I haven't been on in a while. I got T.J. a new UVB! It's a Reptisun 10.0. He's looking way more colrful.Is that why? Can a beardie's colors be affected by UVB? :?:

Absolutely, plus his behaviour and energy will change, too. It's amazing what the right sunlight will do for a beardie
