I was at a local pet shop today looking for treats for my 6 month old beardie, Reptar. He has always been a good eater with crickets, meal worms, an ocassional waxworm, and salad. I decided to try a new type of worm to add more variety.. Superworms. After explaining the situation to the person at the pet store, they refused to sell me any because of his age. He said that if young beardies don't kill the superworms before they're swallowed, the superworms can eat right through the stomach. Has anyone ever heard of this before? Is it common? Any other bug suggestions? I've already order a colony of dubai's.
