superworms shedding?

a couple days ago i got some supers for my beardie and i just opened the package and one was very white and the gold coloured skin looked as if it was coming off. is it just shedding to go or is it turning into a beetle? only thing that doesnt make sence is its with a bunch of other superworms so it should be able to...

Yes, they do molt - that is how they grow bigger.

They do molt when they are about to pupate, but that is unlikely in this case.
