superworms and baby dragons...

I know a lot of people here say you shouldn't feed to supers to BD's until they reach a certain length but I am sure not everyone believes this and follows this rule. My question is, can you feed baby dragons baby supers?

No. Young beardies (until they reach about 16 inches) have a kink in their digestive system that doesn't allow them to correctly pass the superworm, even if it is digested. The baby can become impacted rather quickly. It's not worth it.

Superworm are HUGE and SCAREEEEY!!! :shock:
I bought a case (1000) of Superworm without researching it first. My juvie dragon is just 10 inches now... so the worms is just way to big for her.
I hate worms, but I will try for my lil Bill....

What is liquidize?
It's no way for me to chop that scary worm... When I received the package, I opened it and...mannnn!!! I scream... luckily I opened it on the porch, so i just let them there, and lock the back door...hahaha..
I posted an add on craiglist for free superworm, and they are gone the next morning.

liquidiser / food processor...same thing

When ajax was poorly i put some supers and some veggies in a liquidiser and it chopped them all up into a slurry and then i fed him with a syringe or a spoon....it sounds gross i know but would be the best way to feed large worms into a small mouth without having tummy worries!
