So last night before I went to bed I put Smaug on my bed and she immediately leaped off of the bed and free felled to the carpet is that bad she was not injured in any way. I have found out that Smaug is a she now :|

Sometimes they think they can fly. Especially when they are small. I'm glad she wasn't hurt. The carpet was probably soft enough to help. Just keep an eye out and try to give her a hand if she wants to get down from something.

Gobi has done the same thing. I call it his flying squirrel. He leaps and splays out all his limbs like he is going to fly :lol: Now I know his game and can tell when he's about to take the plunge.

Yeah so I was talking to my mom I set her on the bed and then she immediately leaped off of the bed belly flop style me and my mom had a good laugh about it after we knew she was not hurt.

Hi there!

I have a young juvenile male and he just exhibited the same behavior yesterday. When he's super warm from basking and UVB, he wants to get out of his terrarium and explore. He crawled all over me, lept on the couch blankets, then hopped onto our foot rest and then onto my fiance's arm :lol: It was really cute, but we're cautious about his exploring limits, especially with my cat!

I wish I could sex my beardie, but he's sensitive when I try to look under his tail with a flashlight -__-
