Styrofoam/Grout 2 Floor 40 Gallon Breeder

Hi everyone, I'm in the process of making my own decor for my new tank and was hoping for some criticism or ideas. This is the top floor of my plan but is not nearly finished (just started the styrofoam) The basking spot is on the left and the food and staircase will be on the right. Looking forward to your replies!!!

Thats a cool idea , cant wait to see it done . Is the basking spot going to be on the top floor ? Are you worried it will be to hot ? Are you using styrofoam as substrate on the bottom of the tank ?

Thank you! The basking area will be on the left side, I'll have to adjust the basking lamp. I'm using a plain reptile carpet on the bottom floor.

Also the second floor will only be about 5-6" high since Leonard like to jump.

How was it using the grout? I just finished my enclosure but I used concrete mix instead of grout. Was a little chunky but kinda benefitted in the end in giving a realistic look. I just feel like it would have been easier using grout lol
