I don't have kids and know nothing about human children - but I have seen either "phase 1" or "stage 1" food mentioned. Chicken, I believe.

Someone PLEASE correct me if I'm wrong.

tried green beens, but he has not attempted to lick it off. just lets it set there. Most of the time he just sits there with his body raises to the heat lamp.

One of my cats lunged at my Zuma once, trying to bite her head. Kitty got a flying lesson and I spent the next hour inspecting Zuma over and over to make sure she didn't get her anywhere. I was terrified. I hope poor Jacks makes it through ok. *hugs*

I've heard that Apple Sauce can lower appetite and cause runs (but works great for impaction!) so avoid apple. I also don't think sweet potato is a good one, going by the Beautiful Dragons site. But chicken with veggies will give moisture and protein so it seems to me like a good one and as mentioned squash and carrot, etc. If Jacks is completely avoiding veggies perhaps a mango baby food or diluted with water? Normally you don't want to give them a lot of sugar though so maybe someone else will have some better advice.

he started licking it off, so i got some more and he started to just lick it off the spoon. so i got him out and he licked some more, he is laying on my chest now
