Hes 2 years old, 15-17 in. long (has pretty good sized nip) and 442 grams... Dyed from red sand, so I cant see his colors. :D

I know it's a little late, but that doesnt make him any less adorable!! Hehe
He got that hat for Christmas XD After I was done with the Santa pics, he crawled over to me, sat on my lap, and stared at me like "Mommy, I want this thing off. RIGHT. NOW."

We went Wisconsin on Sunday - Tuesday to see family for Christmas, and my Uncle has this pottery/ceramic shop called Glaze, and you can paint your own ceramic things and make glass art that he melts. I painted a coffee mug, and I made Dudley and Smudge these awesome little glass signs with their names on it to hang above their cages. I cant wait until they ship it here!

Here are some more random cute pics of Dudders, and some of his DIY rocks! I just have to do another coat of Mod Podge on the bottom of the basking platform, and then that one is done! I forgot to take pics of it after I painted it, but it is a dark red-ish/terra cotta color.

Oh, and brumation is officially over. I almost wish he would go back to sleep though LOL, because his hormonal-ness is horrible! He is constantly tearing around his viv, black bearding, and head bobbing at inatimate objects. This morning I think he gave himself some brain damage: He launched himself from his branch, hit his face on the UV light (I swear, he is gonna break that thing one of these days.), and smacked the top of his head on the screen right under the heat lamp. There is about a foot of space between the branch and the screen lid, and I still dont understand how he managed to propel his fat that high in the air. He must have learned his lesson though, because he calmed down after that!
I did manage to get a cute video of him going psycho and head bobbing though. :D

Well, enough rambling. Here are some pics! I hope everyone hasnt forgotten about this thread though. I don't seem to have mant followers. :(

A handsome boy with attitude! I like it!
Also, you should totally post a tutorial for how you made that. Clovis has serious envy. Right now he has a cardboard box so I can throw it away when he gets his parasitic poop on it.

LOL! He can be cute and studley at the same time.

Dudley has been kinda crabby since he woke up from brumating. Is this normal? He always has a darker colored beard and stress marks, and he hasnt gotten his appetite back yet either. Is this normal? Im thinking that it's just the hormones, but Im a little worried.

And his 2nd rock sculpture is almost done! Ill be able to set it all up next weekend. :blob5:

No fear! Here is a snippet from the brumation article on this site:

"Once your Bearded Dragon decides to come out of brumation, and remain awake, you may find that he’s restless and very grumpy, and just wants to be left alone for a few days. This is perfectly normal, and will pass in a relatively short period of time. He also may not have much of an appetite for a few days after he awakens. If he doesn’t want to eat, don’t force the issue. He will eat when he’s ready. This is also completely normal.

Another important thing to mention, is that when your Bearded Dragon fully awakens, you may see a lot of displaying, blackened beards, and head bobbing for a two to three week period, following their brumation. This too, is perfectly normal. Following a Bearded Dragon’s brumation period, most awaken with very elevated hormone levels, in preparation for mating in the Spring, and adult males will think of little else except mating for a while. For the most part, females will only react by being a bit restless, but the adult males may drive you a little crazy for a week or two."

He's just lookin for a lady. ;)

OK, thanks for that! I guesss I need to re-read the brumation article.

Well, he was used as a breeder in his previous home, so he is probably wondering where his girlfriend is about now, LOL! (They used to be housed together.)
Its a little frustrating, cause I want to feed him and make him epic salads of awesomeness, buuuuut I cant.
I dont like seeing him all stressed out either... It makes me feel like I am doing something wrong! :(

You can come feed Clovis! In the past few days he's been interested in his squash again. Of course tomorrow he starts another 5 days of Panacur, so that'll probably kill his interest again. Siiigh.
You are not doing the least thing wrong with Dudley the Studley! The hormones will run their course and he'll calm down again. His body just doesn't realize that his kindred are beloved by us slaves and thus he does not need to mate every female ever to continue his species. ;)

I just set Swordtail's timer for his bath and paused it so I could actually fill his soaking bowl up and he crawled over my phone and canceled the timer 🤣
Mirage came out of brumation on April 26. He was doing great. On May 2 he started acting funny. We just redid his tank, and he keeps going into one of his hides. He just lays there. He shows no intrest in food. HELP!
