Hi all, first off thank you so much for helping me out with my first question I posted on here! Now I have another: My beardie has been home around 3 to 4 weeks and is around 2 months old, is eating really well now, seems to be adjusted to me and my bf, and his stress marks had gone away after week two. I was using a temp. gun to check temps but the battery went out and we cannot figure out how to get it open to replace it; my bf and i went to the mall and checked if a jewelry story could do it, since the screw is miniscule, and they couldn't. So I got a dif. type of thermometer, a zoomed digital with a probe at the end. This happened a day or two ago. I put the probe on top of the rock to it is on the surface, and we have been playing around with temps to see what he likes. However, his belly has been pretty stressed out with dark marks for pretty much whatever temp it is. His stress marks don't seem to be too consistent with the temp change, we've tried everything from 95 to 115 not knowing if the thing was really ultra accurate, but even if his marks go away mostly at a certain temp, which is usually like 103 ish, they come back soon after without the temp changing. Can anyone tell what's wrong. I really appreciate any insight. Thanks! Oh by the way his appetite hasn't gone down at all during this time, and he IS shedding, I don't know if this has anything to do with it.
