Strange eye blinking

My beardie Khomez has been closing one eye constently, anytime I touch him(mostly if I stroke him Onthe head) he closes one eye and keeps it closed for awhile. AT first I thought it was him enjoying being stroked but that's when I saw it was one eye and just that eye.

I'm starting to think might have been his repti-glo (got rid of that thing, go repti-sun) but idk. The vet said he seemed fine and nothing was wrong but something is deffantly irritating him. What do you guys think it mght be and what's making it happen?

Mine have always done that too.

I had a big thread in the behavior section on theories for why they do this but it is most likely locked due to inactivity now.

Usually the 2 most common causes of eye closing are contentment or 'i don't like this'. Kazi quite often closes the eye that he can see me out of! I think he is sick of the sight of me!! Lol!

It could be that he is getting ready to shed. Is he only doing it when you stroke him?

Perhaps that was the eye that was 'looking' at the reptiglo most and it's still a little strained- how long ago did you change it?

I changed it like yesterday, I learned how bad it was and was quick to get rid of it, he does it randomly but most of the time when i stroke him. he is shedding so that might be it too
