Oh no I'm so so sorry to hear! That's exactly the opposite of what I was hoping for.
I know you loved him like crazy and did everything you could. I'm thinking maybe he was unwell before you got him and the hurricane stress just aggravated whatever was wrong?

Catahoula passed away sometime early this morning. My boyfriend and I buried him in the back. This is the worst day.

I know how you feel. We've lost 5 beardies since 2006. It hurts every time, no matter why they died, it still hurts. I'm sorry. There was obviously something wrong that wasn't apparent. We had a similar experience to yours. Our Goldie had lost her appetite around the middle of May of 2011 so we took her to the vet in June of 2011 but he couldn't see any reason for her lack of appetite. He gave us some Carnivore care but that didn't seem to help her appetite any. Since we have to drive 100+ miles it's a struggle to get her to the vet. By the time we realized it was probably kidney failure it was too late. We lost her at the end of this last July.

Thank you everyone for your support and advice. I truly appreciate it and you. I dont think i will be getting another bearded dragon very soon. I need some time to mourn. Not to mention, my well meaning bf, seeing how upset i was, brought home a savannah monitor last night......so my hands are full with that guy right now. He's not completely tame.
