Hello - Got this guy less than a week ago. We are all very excited and everyone seems to be adjusting well.
Name: Stewart. The kids had about 30 names ready, but his sign read Stewart and we all agreed it was perfect.
Stewart stats: We don't know a ton. He is apparently a rescue and a juvenile (size charts I read put him at about 7 months). Unsure on morph, but you tell me. His eyes are pretty black and I don't see an obvious stripe on nails, so maybe some trans. Whatever that really means for how I raise him. He is super friendly, great temperament so far, he'll eat from your hand. Finally pooped after a couple of days and I noticed some gaping during basking, so I'm happy that he seems to be adjusting.
My stats: Newbie to beardies, newbie to reptiles in general. Though we have been interested in getting a beardie for almost a year, reading up on them, talking to people and deciding if they were the right pet for us. Looking forward to having him for a long time and I am sure I will be hitting this forum regularly with research, questions, geeking out about tank setup and lighting, and general bragging.
